The Town of Cutler Bay has begun a major drainage upgrade running along SW 185th Terrace (west to east) and SW 78th Place (south to north). This project is fully funded by the Town and is intended to help alleviate the persistent flooding our community experiences during the rainy season. Once completed, these improvements should significantly improve water flow and reduce standing water throughout Old Cutler Glen.
We recognize that construction can be disruptive, and the HOA is currently working with the Town Manager to discuss a plan for restoring any areas of residents’ yards or community entrances that may be affected during the project. and are actively engaged in these conversations and will keep the community informed as we learn more.
As work continues, please use extra caution when driving or walking through the neighborhood. Be mindful of lane closures, equipment, and the crews who are working throughout the day.
